Pastoral Council Purpose, Membership & News

The Pastoral Council is a group of parishioners who collaborate with the Pastor of Holy Trinity and St. Stephen Parishes to advise and support the pastoral life of our community. They work together to discern the needs of the parishes, develop plans to meet those needs, and ensure that our parishes are welcoming and vibrant. 

The Council's key functions include:

• Advising the Pastor on pastoral matters
• Assisting in pastoral planning and implementation
• Developing and reviewing the parish mission statement
• Evaluating and recommending improvements to parish programs and policies
• Facilitating open communication within the parish
• Implementing diocesan priorities within the parish
• Supporting faith formation and sacramental preparation
• Helping to identify and engage the diverse gifts of our parishioners
• Working to build consensus through prayer and dialogue
• Regularly reviewing the effectiveness of parish initiatives

The Pastoral Council is dedicated to working with the Pastor to ensure that Holy Trinity and St. Stephen Parishes thrive.
